This old book from 1928 celebrates the 100th year anniversary of Hermes.

It's difficult to imagine setting up a company now and producing goods through
the generations. I wonder who in our time will be able to do such a thing.

噂の本…

「トンデモ本を取り上げるな」って言われそうですが、興味深い内容ではあると思います。
今ネットで話題（！）の「金正日は日本人だった」。

金日成の側近として、抗日時代から朝鮮戦争期まで活躍した
北朝鮮の英雄、金策。
実は彼は日本人で帝国陸軍が半島に残した「残置諜者（＝スパイ）」であり、
金正日の実の父（つまり金正日は金日成の養子）である。
その金策によって天皇制を模して作られた北朝鮮の体制には、
旧日本軍の思想的遺伝子が移植されており、
それが戦後の東アジアの歴史に背後から影響を与えてきた、という仮説を軸に、
著者の考える「北朝鮮の正体」と「東アジアの裏面史」を描いているのがこの本です。

ところで、「北朝鮮は、もうひとつの日本である」という考えは
村上龍の「五分後の世界」を読んだときに僕もひらめいたんですよね。
あの小説で描写される「降伏せずに第二次大戦を戦い続けている日本」ってのが
北朝鮮のことに僕には思えたわけです......
というのは、さておき、
「仮に」この著者の主張が真実だとするなら、
東アジアの戦後史は僕らの「常識」とは随分と異なる姿を現すことになります。

この本がもたらす「常識が覆る快感」と「あったかもしれない『もうひとつの歴史』」
へのロマンティックな夢想は、僕の中にも無くはない。
けれど、まずは自分の目に見える範囲にある日本と近隣アジアの可能性を
自分の頭で考えたいと思うのです。
（そもそも、政権交代をが実現されたタイミングで「音羽の出版社」から発売された
この本自体が、何かの「メッセージ」かもしれないという可能性も「陰謀マニア」とし
ては押さえておきたい！）

とはいえ、この本が「やっぱ、次はアジアかな」と漠然と思う今日この頃に、
良い刺激を与えてくれたのは確かです。
